.:Look:. With black hair and dark brown eyes, Isabel has a very piercing stare, and is renowned for her beauty, even though many of the people in the kingdom do not trust her. John did pick her for her looks, after all, and she is the epitome of fairness, with flawless porcelain skin, slim body type with ample curves, red lips, slender brows, button nose, and excellent cheek bones. She is very gorgeous – that is, when she is not scowling about something.

.:Basic Personality:. Isabel gets along with her husband well for the most part because they are so alike – and other times, their similarities cause them to argue, because they are both stubborn, arrogant, and insistent upon having their way. She has a quick temper which shows itself whenever she cannot have something she wants, she hates it when her husband spends much time away from her (which is supposed to happen often, seeing as how he is a prince, and acting king), and she is completely spoiled. As angry as she gets, she is just as quick to simper, flirt, and flatter, with a charming smile and bat of her eyes. She is good at some things required of a princess such as these, but she is far too selfish to be a truly good princess, as she cares nothing for her subjects and only flaunts the power they give her and uses it for her own advancement. She is generally without scruples like her husband, though not as intelligent, and relies on her beauty to get her way, as she is extremely vain. Though she has her husband, for the most part, wrapped around her finger, she has failed to give him the thing he needs most, a son for a legitimate heir, and for that reason, she has grown nervous, desperate, and needy, demanding his attention to ensure that it remains upon her so she may become with child and not fall out of favor with him.

-Robin Of Sherwood (1984)
.:Birthplace:. Gloucester, England
.:Family:. William Fitz Robert and Hawise de Beaumont, siblings Robert, Mabel, and Amice Fitz William
.:History:. The great-granddaughter of King Henry I by her bastard father William Fitz Robert, Isabelle has spent her life in luxury which was attained at someone else’s expense. She grew up in Gloucester, the daughter of a Countess, with three siblings: Robert, Mabel, and Amice, more or less in the lap of luxury, as was typical for noble families. She was declared the Countess of Gloucester, and became even more wealthy, because King Henry had disinherited her sisters. King Henry also betrothed her to her second cousin, Prince John, to her great delight. She had always longed for power, and what better way than to be a princess, to a man who was growing ever closer to being king? She thought the prince to be very handsome, and looked forward to their marriage.
The marriage occurred on August 29 1189, after what seemed like an eternity of waiting. She forgot all about her family in her excitement about her new family, her husband. Her father had died when she was ten, and her sisters had been disinherited and were no longer important to her. Her life revolved now around pleasing her husband and producing sons for him… and, of course, becoming a powerful princess. She did not keep up much with political affairs, which bored her, but made sure that she kept her husband’s attention, and had all the pretty dresses and fine jewelry that she could desire. She nodded while her husband spoke of matters which bored him and kissed him the way he liked, and things were nice for both of them, except for the occasions on which she argued. Those occasions are becoming more frequent since, three years after their wedding, she has not yet produced a child. She cares nothing for the people they rule, and is excited that her husband, now closer to being king with his brother’s disappearance, will bring her closer to being queen, just as she’s always wanted.
