Robert grinned before tossing back a quick reply to her almost threat like comment; "It might be worth loosing my head to see you cry." He didn't mean it, he happened to like his head right were it was; and wasn't in a hurry to loose it. He also didn't want the sheriff to have anything he wanted; Marian included. Mostly thought; he didn't like the idea of the sheriff--or any man really--putting their hands on her. He didn't really want to think about the why that was; he just knew that it was enough to annoy the shit out of him. Make him want to piss the sheriff off even more.
Instead of commenting, he just keep walking a dozen more meters until a tall man with dark features stepped out behind some trees. Robert jogged ahead to speak with the man in a low voice; making sure most of which Marian could not over hear. A few things were noticeable such as the rare unhidden anger in her face when speaking to the man; and man's serious expression.
After a short conversation, Robert turned to walk back to her; "He'll give us his horse. There is a place I know when you can wash with out the others watching you. We have a few dresses so you wont have to wear that much longer. I think It's an half hour ride at most, maybe less if you don't mind a hard ride." His last words were meant to be suggestive.

Marian looked at him appraisingly, then shrugged. "Funny, I didn't have you pegged for the kind of man who would get off on making women cry." She looked up at him, almost challenging him to contradict her. He hadn't made her cry so far...he had hardly even touched her when he'd had her tied up, so she didn't really think he was the kind of man who liked to dominate women, although maybe she was just too volatile for his tastes. He still had a little mark on his lip where she'd bit him last time he'd tried that kind of thing with her.
She paused when he ran ahead to the other man, picking up that this wasn't a conversation she was needed for. She watched him speak in a low voice to the other man, wondering what they were discussing. Was this the part where they sent the Sheriff a ransom note? He looked too angry to just be talking about her...something had happened that he wasn't particularly happy about. She looked at him expectantly as he returned and explained what would happen now...and she did pick up how he mentioned the 'others' not watching her, which almost certainly meant he would be.
Her lips turned up slowly in a saucy smile, and she stepped closer to him, almost close enough that they were touching. "Oh, I can handle it. In fact, the harder the better." She replied just as suggestively, twirling the dangling end of the lace that tied her dress up around her finger tauntingly.

Robert had not meant that he would be watching when he told her the others would be; but had he known where her mind was going he would have toyed with it to annoy her. He didn't quite trust him self to see her fully naked and keep his hands off her, because really, a man could only take so much temptation. And he knew she had nasty habit of biting when he got to close. He wore one badge of her courage on his lip and he was not about to add another.
At her suggestive words back at him, Robert gave a amused laugh before reaching up to pat his dirty hand against her dirty cheek adding more dirt and smearing marks there. "I just bet you do, Martin, hard and fast by the looks of you." By that time the other man joined them with a large black horse in tow; the back of the beast reached to Robin's shoulders easily. Mounting, Robert held his hand down for her so he could help her up, while speaking to his friend. "I'll be back at camp by dawn or before. Wait for me before you move." 'Watch your back.' The other man warned before moving back to blend with the trees.

Marian just winked at him playfully when he decided she liked it hard and fast, since the other man was already back with the horse in tow. After Robin climbed up, Marian took the offered hand...the horse was huge, she wasn't even going to try getting up all on her own, and with his help climbed onto the horse behind him, placing her hands on his waist for balance. While she was tempted to get close enough to tease him, the stench was enough to convince her that was a terrible idea; she'd have time to tease him however she wanted later, and it would be easier when she didn't smell like a pig pen.
She wondered what they were talking about when they spoke of 'moving.' Was there something up? Something to do with how Robin had been caught, if she had her guess. He'd said he was looking for answers, or something, hadn't he? What if...there was a traitor at his camp? That would be something. She thought all his men hated the Sheriff and the nobles, but apparently not enough that they wouldn't take their money if there was enough of it. Surely, whoever the traitor was wouldn't be foolish enough to hang around after getting Robin caught...especially if they knew he'd escaped. But she figured worrying about traitors wasn't really her concern.

Robert kicked the horse into a hard ride so they could get this filth off of them as well as get away from the edge of the woods. The others could hide where they could; and were dressed to blend in, however Robert and Marian where not. They needed the cover of the trees to blend in. After a half hour ride, they came to a river, and he began following it all the way til they came to the bottom of a small cliff like drop in the landscape. The cliff was only about a dozen feet high; but he knew there would be more space where they were going.
He slid off the horse and reached up with an offer to pull her down. "Come," He took her hand so he could lead her to the fall; and only then could you see that there was a cave behind the water that poured down. "You get wet going in, but no one will find you there. Put you hand on the right wall and follow it until you get light. I will join you once I get the horse settled."
Robert turned and went back to unsaddled the stolen thoroughbred and tie him off so he could graze with out running off. Inside the cave, it dropped off, going lower into the ground; so there was more room then it first looked as if it might be. There were dark tunnels that lead away from the opening. Down the tunnel he sent her; an small opening in the ground above gave light to an area where the cave floor stopped suddenly, and you could swim in the water from the river. Down some of the other tunnels he knew he could find where they stored some of their stolen goods that he could not sell; and where he would find her new dress. Robert used another fabric to pick up the dress and carry it with out touching it before he followed the walls to join her. "Here, this will be something clean to wear. I bit out of style maybe but it might fit."

Marian held him tightly as they rode to wherever Robin kept his secret bathing place, eager for the chance to wash off. She was getting kind of drowsy by the time he finally slowed down, and she took his hand when he offered it to help her down, sliding off the horse easily. She looked around curiously, familiar with this place...people didn't come here much anymore, but they knew about it. Then he took her hand and led her over to the fall, and she wondered for a few seconds if he wasn't planning to just shove her in. But then the cave, concealed behind the stream of water, came into view. She had never known that was there...clever. Hiding in plain sight.
Marian nodded to his instructions, she didn't even have a witty quip to throw at him, for once. She looked at him before she followed his instructions, keeping her hand on the damp cave wall as she made her way through the pitch darkness, hoping he wasn't just messing with her, only stumbling a few times over the uneven cave floor. But soon enough she reached a place where the moonlight had found a way to filter into the cave, lighting a good sized pool of water. She smiled to herself, looking around. She wondered how long it would take him to deal with the horse, then decided she didn't care.
Wasting no more time, she removed her filthy boots and then pulled out the dirty laces of her dress, letting it fall around her before she slipped into the water. She shivered, the water was cold, but felt so very good against her skin, and she wasted no time in rubbing the dirt off everywhere that she could, dunking her head under the water to get anything that had gotten on her face and combing her fingers back through her hair. She was in the middle of the pool when she heard Robin returning, and she looked back over her shoulder at him, keeping her back to him. "Thank you," she smiled when he explained about the dress. It was better than trying to wash her dress. "I wonder what the sheriff will say when I come back wearing different clothes." If he even noticed the change.

Bloody Hell she was naked. It had been all he could do not to comment on it a moment ago when he saw her all bare and there for the looking. He set the dress down where it would not get wet and then turned to look at her again. He was so damn temped to dive in there with her; and drag her a few inches below the water where it was harder to hide from his gaze but he was half afraid she'd kick him were it counts; and he was rather protective over that part of him self.
"Damn Martin, You look like a girl. Need help?" He offered to try to annoy her, in effort to break the mood he was getting in. Her question could do that as well; "Just tell him I was a dirty old man who made you chance for me, you used the distraction to get me off guard and get away somehow. You've done it before, it should be no shock that you'd do it again." Robert bent down and started taking off his boots before moving to sit down on the side of the pool with his feet in.
He wasn't going to push her too far but he liked making her uncomfortable; and so when he sat down he lifted his dirty vest and shirt off so he only wore his pants. Robert wasn't going into the water with her but he wanted her to think he might. "You wash my back, and I will wash yours?"

Marian laughed when he accused her of looking like a girl. Gee, why ever would that be? She rolled her eyes and ducked her head again at his offer of help, swimming further out into the pool. When she came up for air and she heard his suggestion, she laughed. "You'd regret that. I'm a terrible dancer." She told him, that was actually true, although she'd never tried the kind of dancing he meant. Maybe she could be better at it than she was at the ballroom variety. The sheriff shouldn't question her ability to get away; she'd proven quite adept at dealing with outlaws on her own.
She looked back over her shoulder to see him perched on the edge of the pool, his boots and shirt gone. She gave a teasing smile when he offered to wash her back. "All right. But you'll have to come into the water." She didn't know how much restrain he actually possessed...but he was trying to bother her with his advances, so she was going to test exactly how capable he was of holding himself back. Looking over her shoulder, she let her eyes roam over his bare chest freely. It wasn't like she hadn't seen him naked before, but this time, he wasn't tied up.

His grin faded a little bit when she invited him into the water; and he wondered what her game was. It was temping to join her--very damn temping. But; she was a bit too evil to just be inviting him in for a quick bit of sport and fun. No, no; Marian would have a plan to either hurt, main, or humiliate him. He wasn't quite ready for any of the above; she it seemed safe to say that his best place right was watching and not touching.
She was pretty; but he wasn't about to wake up naked and tired to a tree twice in a row. "Temping." He told her while touching his chin as if thinking about the offer really hard; before shaking his head no. "I think I will sit right were I am at. The view is better from up here."
And it was hard to drown while out of the water. He knew that should they get attacked he could dive into the pool and travel though the tunnels under the cave until he got to another open pool like this. That pool had no in to out other then the underwater trip. He could hide there a few hours--if he didn't get lost and drown while down there; but he couldn't stay there forever.

Marian gave a disappointed pout that she didn't even have to fake when he declined to join her in the pool, then shrugged. "Suit yourself." She shrugged, resuming running her hands through her wet hair to get the remainder of the grime out, letting him watch all he wanted. She was disappointed...but she was also kind of relieved. For all that she liked to tease men, and Robin in particular, Marian wasn't sure what she wanted from him. So, for the time being...she was glad he was too suspicious of her to take her up on her offer.
Once she finally felt that she'd removed as much of the filth as she possibly could, she swam back to the ledge where he'd placed her dress, looking up at him quizzically as she reached up to hold the stony outcropping. "Are you going to cover your eyes, too? Since you're resisting temptation and all." She teased, before she lifted herself out of the pool, regardless of whether or not he was looking, picking up the new dress and stepping into it, pulling it up around her. It was a little tight, but other than that, it fit her all right. Leaving her boots on the ground, she sat down on the edge of the pool and let her feet dangle in the water.
"So how'd you find this place?" She asked, wondering if he was going to take his turn and bathe now that she was finished...she kind of hoped he would. For one thing, he needed to get rid of that smell. She was definitely going to escape a lot sooner if she had to deal with him smelling like a sewer for the rest of the night.

"I'm not a saint." He muttered when she asked him to cover his eyes; but he pretended to look away for a whole of a second before he was looking back at her and even leaning a bit to make sure he had a nice good view of what he wanted. Virgins were a pain in the ass; and that was going to become his life's motto--at lest when she was around. This whole look your fill but touch me not; was hell on a man's limbo. The next night he spent in this cave was going to have to be alone for one on one time with his favorite part.
He watched her dress in silence deciding that even if the dress didn't fit, it looked pretty on her. She looked all girl like and kissable when she wasn't covered in who knew what and insulting his mother. He shrugged his shoulder when she asked; "One of the boys. They said, want to see some place cool? I said sure; and here we are." There wasn't much more to it then that; other then that one man had quickly turned out to be one of the few people Robert could really trust. There were only a handful of men that he did trust; and they were his generals of sorts in his war against the Sheriff. John, Will, Alan, Tuck.
He looked over at her trying to decide his next move. "It has hidden tunnels under the pools, so we can disappear for a days if we get smart and bring up some supplies." He wasn't sure why he told her that. Maybe he was testing her; or maybe--just maybe--he trusted her some. Some. Even if she told the Sheriff about the hidden tunnels; they would risk drowning to find where they came up. It was a maze down there and limited air. Still, it was a good place to get a trap; so he knew he was risking allot by trusting her with this information.
Standing up he dismissed the the topic, not wanting her to think too much into his words. He jumped into the water; keeping his pants on for now. He came up a short moment later and shook the water out of his hair. It was the best way to get the pants clean since he didn't have a change of pants here. He could find a shirt but no pants would find him were ever stolen and stored here. Robert reached under the water to unlace and pull off his pants before tossing them at her. "Be a girl and clean them off a bit." He joked.

Marian rolled her eyes when he admitted that he was no saint; that was an understatement. She noticed him watching and didn't even bother to try to cover herself up as she got dressed, figuring that there wasn't a lot of point in trying to hide; she'd probably just wind up showing him more if she took the time to try and hide from him. Besides, he had this adorably pained look on his face, and she couldn't help but enjoy tormenting him with what he was willingly resisting.
She nodded at his simplistic explanation, it made sense. She wondered if all the outlaws in his gang knew about this place, and how many of them they could hide in here if they needed to. Marian listened as he explained the tunnels, wondering at why he would tell her that; wasn't this just the kind of information that the Sheriff would love to have? Not that Marian would tell him anything, but Robin couldn't be sure of that...could he? She watched him wonderingly, until he got up and jumped into the pool, and she lifted her arms to try and protect herself from the splash. She was still wet from her own dip, but now her new dress was wet, too.
She noticed, with some disappointment, how he kept his pants on until he was in the water. Aw, that was hardly fair. Then he went and tossed them at her, and she gave him a look of revulsion before she dropped them onto the ledge, far enough back that he wouldn't be able to reach them without getting out of the water. Ha. "I thought you had determined I wasn't a girl?"

"It's the dress, don't you know." Robert told her while treading water where he was. It was light enough that you could see clearly but dark enough that the details where harder to tell. Thanks to the full moon this little hidden world was perfect for their little games of peeping toms. "You just look all girl like, Martin; and it confuses a man." Teasing her was fun and had truly yet to get old.
Robert also noticed that she moved his pants away from his reach but wasn't worried. She'd seen everything God gave him before and if she wanted to see it again; he'd take that as a good sign. Hell; if he trusted her a little bit more he might even hop up there beside her while he was naked and see how calm she was then; since he could not exactly hide his growing mood.
The cold water helped him but once he was out; there'd be nothing. Taking a deep breath he went under again and rank his hand though his hair while down there to let the water take away all dirt and grime. When he came up, he was right beside her; as he swiftly pushed on the ledge to lift himself up and out of the water. He turned so he was sitting then laying down beside her; with his knees hanging off the edge and feet in the water. There, see how comfortable she was now. He was ready to reach over and push her in, if his moved to do anything weird.

Marian chuckled when he explained that it was the dress that was throwing him off. "Oh, of course, and it has nothing to do with what's under it?" Since she was sure he'd seen everything she had to hide by now, it was a reasonable question. She wondered if he would ever get tired with calling her Martin. Such an awful name. But she knew of ways that she could make fun of him, too, so they could at least be on even ground.
"I had almost forgotten...you like boys who look like girls." She teased, remembering their first ever conversation about the stable boy. Ever since then, he'd been extremely concerned with her gender identity, and figuring out just exactly what she thought she was. He was very hung up on the idea of dresses, which she found a little odd, since she hadn't worn pants around him since that first night they'd met. She supposed that what her sister had tried to teach her years ago really was true; first impressions really were everything.
She was surprised when he popped out of the water right next to her, jumping slightly, and watching as he climbed out of the pool. She expected him to go straight for his pants, but instead, he decided to linger next to her. She let her eyes wander over his exposed flesh curiously, trying to ignore the slow blush that was creeping into her cheeks, before she looked up to his face. "What, trying to impress me?" She did her best to sound cool and unperturbed, but then she reached back to grab the pants she'd purposely put out of his reach earlier, and dropped them on his face. "Put some clothes on, Robin." She instructed, but not before stealing another quick glance at the swelling evidence of his excitement, then switching her gaze to look out over the still rippling water. ((Night! Working tomorrow until 6:30 my time, 8:30 yours. Talk to you later!))

Robert ignored her comments about the dress, and his taste for the moment; since he had growing proof of what he liked and what he didn't. He just only gave a darkly amused chuckle at her words of trying to impress her; and he noticed that she seemed to not drink in the sight of him but rather for once gave a half way girl reaction, once again proving she was indeed a virgin. His chuckle only deepened she she dropped his pants over his face rather then covered his other half.
Pushing up off the rock floor; so he was sitting beside her, he dropped his pants down to his lap and leaned over so that his face was very close to her's. He just watched her closely, leaning in a bit more and a bit more; before tilting his head as if he was going to kiss her. Robert honestly planned on pushing her into the water right then and there but decided to behave him self and pulled back.
"These are buckskin pants, woman! Have you ever put on wet pants like these beauties? It's almost imposable." They shrank lightly when wet, making the already tight skin fit even tighter across and around him; and guaranteeing that he wasn't getting in and out quickly. "I will find a shirt in a few moments; if I am making you uncomfortable."
