.:Look:. Will is a young man whose postures seem to belong to an even younger man. Some part of his body is usually moving or fidgeting as if sitting still would kill him. His dark eyes don't focus long on a given spot, unless he finds the picture to be appealing. While not quite as formidably built as other members of the outlaw profession, Will's body does have some toning and promises of more to come with time. His brown hair is usually kept short and he rarely spends time fussing over it.

-Adventures Of Robin Hood (1938)
.:Basic Personality:. Will seems to lack many natural survival instincts. He's a born daredevil. Since birth he's yearned to explore his surroundings and conquer them. As soon as he could walk he wanted little to do with being held or carried anywhere. Instead, the toddler wanted to run, jump and climb. His eyes remain constantly on the horizon, scanning it for something more interesting than standing around chatting. If there's a physical challenge he wants to try it, regardless of the danger. Additionally, he tends to be a bit of a hot-head and will reacts negatively to losing. After a loss, it's common to find him off by himself moping about it. Once he's friends with someone, he is fiercely loyal to them.

-Robin Of Sherwood (1984)
.:Birthplace:. Nottinghamshire, England
.:Family:. Father; Thomas of Locksley. Mother; Hannah Scarlock . Half Brother; Robert of Locksley(Robin Hood) Half sister; Evelyn
.:History:.
The most valorous of men can sometimes have moments of weakness. Will Scarlet is the living embodiment of Thomas of Locksley's. He only faltered one time, or at least only one time with the a the young seamstress Hannah, but once was all it took to conceive. Knowing that a connection to a Lord wouldn't make anyone's life easier, Hannah never made it public who Will's father was, though Will himself learned of it when he was older. His life and her own were difficult enough. An unmarried woman with a child was a sign of debauchery. In their cruelty, they called the bastard child Will Scarlet, a play on his real name, Scarlock. The other local children were bound to find a target for their abuses and Will's outcast nature made him the easiest target. But young Scarlock wasn't a victim.
Instead of buckling under the social pressure or the physical punishment that he suffered early on from his peers, Will grew under it and embraced it. He openly used the name Scarlet himself, proudly so that no one could use it against him. And instead of trying to find an easy way out of fights, he fought back. Neither of the strategies won him any favor. He was considered vulgar and dangerous and spent plenty of time in the stocks, but in time that was enough to keep others from openly treating him poorly. When guards would come into the town with convoys, he would beg them to give him pointers on fighting and swordsmanship. His mother wasn't fond of the way he was handling the cards he had been dealt, preferring that he lie low and not call extra attention to himself, but Will was no more ruled by her than he was the rest of society. It was always his assumption that some part of her was proud that he refused to hang his head in defeat.
Dirt poor from the start, Prince John's regime brought a new low to Will and Hannah's lives. Were she not a talented seamstress, they wouldn't have made it as long as they did, but after the new taxes and policies, it was impossible for her to support both of them. The young Will couldn't stand to watch his mother skip meals so that he could eat. He wouldn't watch the only person dear to him suffer. He began to steal in order to supplement their income. At first he only aimed for small amounts no one would notice or miss, but as he became better at it, his goals grew. He tried to rob a passing nobleman, but he was seen in the act. When his thievery was discovered, he bolted before guards could get their hands on him. He knew the price the for stealing from a noble.
He spent time in the woods, stealing from the campsites of unknowing travelers, gaining a few weapons and scant provisions along the way.
