Much the Miller's Son -- Angie -- Drizella
Much has always had more courage than sense; with a knack for trouble and a dangerous curiosity, he was getting himself into trouble long before he joined up with Robin and his merry men. His latest folly? Falling for a whore, the beautiful but cold Angie. Born the daughter of a witch, Angie grew up on the fringes of society, often sneaking out to town to watch the people go by...but she never dared to touch. Her mother, Drizella, passed on much of her art to her daughter, but when Angie came of age, she ran away, making her way to the city of Nottingham where she sought to make a life for herself. But with the taxes so high, the only work she could find was whoring, and since that meant she could stay away from her mother, Angie took the money.
Much didn't even know Angie was a whore when he first laid eyes on her, when he first started seeking her out in the markets to talk to her. And even after he saw her at the brothel, he still couldn't keep her out of his head. For her part, Angie likes the outlaw, but ever practical, she knows that they can't be together, so she tries to push him away, even as he tries to convince her to leave the brothel and be with him. She knows that he's a fugitive, and there's no life for them together...unless she goes back to the forest, where her mother might find her. And she fears that more than anything else.
Drizella is disappointed in her daughter. She raised her as she was raised, and taught her the practices that had been passed down to her, herblore and rituals and everything she knew; and Angie rejected it all. But, she knows that eventually, the city life will make her weary, and her daughter will come back to her. All she has to do is wait..and maybe cast a few curses in the meantime.
