Robert ignored her yelling and insults on purpose; since he wasn't here to be anyone's best friend or brother. He had a sister. While he could not protect her like he wanted too since the sheriff had outlawed him; he wasn't looking for another little girl to fill the void and to take in. She wanted to play the games men played then she needed to learn to play by the rules. "Unless you have some brilliant idea on where I could wait this out, I suggest you leave before you do any more damage!" "Excellent suggestion! I think we will be on our way!" Meaning of course he was leaving her here alone.
His men was gathering up the goods and making their way to disappear the way they know how to best while Robert stayed to make sure she didn't attempt to follow. "I suggest moving quickly. They are expecting this cart and the fires will be a give away as to what I have done this time." Robert started backing up in the area that his mean disappeared into while he keep talking to her. "I even suggest that you head west." The other way he was; "As they will find our tracks east and if they are feeling brave they will follow us!"

Alice picked up her trunk, balancing it on her hip and scowling. It was obvious that she was as angry wiht Robin as he was annoyed with her. He suggested she should head west, opposite of where he and his men were heading. She could've laughed out loud. "Why should I take your advice? You did threaten to kill me, after all." And with that, she turned and ran somewhat awkwardly into the trees without so much as a farewell.
She knew that she had little time to waste. The soldiers could be on their way right now, and she didn't want to be arrested. She reached her hideout, a small clump of trees that had grown close together, creating a clearin in the center that was only accessable by squeezing through the small gap between the trees. Nobody bigger than Alice would be able to get through. Alice did just that, slipping in between the gaps in the trees. The clearing in the small ring of trees was just big enough for herself, a cooking fire and whatever loot she had managed to steal that day.
Alice made a mental checklist of what she needed to take with her and what she needed to hide. She set her trunk dow nin the middle, then got down on her hands and knees near the base of one of the trees. Pushing away the loose roots, she uncovered a hole about as deep as her arm and about as wide as her shoulders. She reached down into it and pulled out an empty leather bag. She put the hunting frock and one of the bolts of cloth into it, then hid the trunk in the hole, covering it up with the loose roots. It would do until she could get it to a safer place.
Leaving the leather sack on the ground, Alice then proceeded to climb up the tree she had been sitting under. About a quarter of the way up she found her bag, stuck up between the branches as she had left it. She slung the pack over her shoulder and climbed back down. When she had reached the ground, she opened her pack and put the leather bag in it. She looked around the clearing, checking to see if she had left anything out. Seeing the dark patch where her cooking fire was each night, she kicked the ashes around, spreading them out into a nondescript pattern. It could have been any hunter's fire from forever ago.
Satisfied that she had protected her hideout as best as she could, Alice headed off, keeping herself in the trees, but staying parallel to the road so she didn't get too lost. She went east, the exact opposite of the way Robin had advised her to. Alice wasn't stupid, she wasn't going to head west. The wagon had been coming from the west. Any guards of the wagon would be coming from that direction.
