In the Spring 1174 Vivian came down with a sickness. No one quite knew what it was. She had horrible pains, and ran a fever. Her husband Thomas was sure he would be a single father left to care for their eleven year old son Robert. The coming days were hard on the women, the nights harder. In the very early morning, Vivian tired sick and alone ended up giving birth to a very small little girl. The child could not have been more then five pounds, a dangerously small weight. Vivian still sick and tired from the birth was unable to call for help. So she did what she could for the tinny child. Turns out Vivian did just what she had to.
The child survived the night, and Vivian began to recover. When Thomas and Robert came in, hoping to find their mother alive, they saw more then they every could have wished. Still with a fever, but more color in her cheeks Vivian sat in her bed, child held tight to her chest. The child was given the name Airanna. This is where her story begins.
4 years past with her older brother Robert always by her side, ready to catch her should she fall. Help her to climb, run and jump. Her only real inspiration. So when he became of age and left to train, she was quite sad. Her father took over the role of older brother. Her mother never fair behind to tend to her wounds. Ariánna was quite the quick talking, fast little girl. She always seemed to get into trouble. She was curious, smart, and she did not quite know her place, yet she was cute and lovable, a trick to get her out of trouble.
But the highlights the next years was a small chuck of time, about five months, when her brother would come home for a visit. The two were almost always together, the girl worshiped the ground her brother walked on. She wanted to be just like him, so of course she'd do whatever he did. He was quick to learn how to shoot an arrow, and Ariánna was at his side learning just as quick as he.
The time they spend together was cherished greatly by Ariánna. But a tragedy hit the young family while Robert was away at war. Thomas was found dead not far from the family's home. Ariánna was about sixteen. The next year was the hardest year of her life. The Sheriff took over the farm, took over the land, took over her family. Her mother and her were stuck doing his bidding. Ariánna did not mind so much, for she was waiting for the day her brother would come home and make things right. That day would not come.
He came home of course, but things did not go the way she wished them to. Robert always the strong willed man, fought for what was right. Fought for the farm for their friends family, their people. Things were taken to far and a few men lost their lives that night. Ariánna was devastated, but she knew what she had to do. The night before he was outlawed and send away forever, Ariánna was able to talk to him. She begged him to let her go with him, pleaded cried, but Robert knew Vivian still needed her daughter. The women was old and needed help. So Robert convinced Ariánna to stay.
Ariánna knew what she needed to do. She needed to let the sheriff get close to her, to Vivian. She needed to act like her brother was nothing. She needed the Sheriff to trust her. So she did what she could to gain his trust and whenever she was free from his sick smelly arm's she'd run to her brother in the night and give him whatever information she had. She felt responsible for his safety. It was her turn to look out for him. So her acting skills improved greatly, and her loyalty to her brother grew. Of course the only one who knows her true intentions is Robert, not even Vivian knows what Ariánna does when she sneaks out at night. She has yet to get caught, for she knows how to hide, and she knows just what to say, and how to say it to get her way. Her father would not be proud of her behavior, but she'd keeping Robert safe from the Sheriff. Her somewhat naughty behavior is made up by the good she does for her brother.
