Jumping over the fallen log; Robert kept running as the men from Nottingham kept chasing. He was leading them toward a trap; and while he was far enough that they could not see him; the sounds of the dogs following his scent meant they could not be too far behind him.
This was how the game began. Then he would lead them to where his men would ambush them; take their clothing--and their dogs--and return to Nottingham as the men to spy; steal; and cause a large amount of chaos.
Robert saw the clearing up ahead; which meant he was growing closer. All he had to do was stay one step ahead. Today was turning out to be one hell of a good day!

This place was dreadful! So many white men speaking foreign tongue. While Aurelia understood their words, she was far from flattered. Especially considering many were a target at her ethnicity. Her Saracen roots deemed her an escaped slave in this land. It was her mixed features that saved her from being too target however. And soon enough, she would be known as the wife of a rich nobleman. That was all she wanted. He better be damn worth this. It of course helped that he was young and more attractive. His behavior at the gathering she had first met him at made him even a more prime target for her attentions. And it was now what made her his wife.
A title she so desperately needed to claim, and soon. She was tired of walking through these treacherous lands. She wanted a roof over her head, nice expensive and lavish gowns and jewelry, and all other material things that women wished for in this lifetime. It was as if the heavens had answered, and she found herself having to blink a couple of times, and slightly squint her eyes at the distance he was in. But... there he was! Her beloved husband! Aurelia quickly hid behind a tree before he could see her. She pulled her hair loose and ruffled it a bit, giving her a more disheveled look. She took a deep breath in preparation and as she casually walked from behind the tree, her entire demeanor changed.
Whatever annoyance she felt, was gone from her expressions. Instead, it was replaced with those doe eyes of a confused woman, yet one who would be happy in an embrace from her spouse. "Roberto!" She exclaimed, as she rushed toward him. She even added a small stumble in her steps, causing her to fall to the ground on her knees, conveniently and not so coincidentally right in front of him. Oh yes. She was the tired, exhausted and worn damsel who needed to be in her husband's arms! But, why was he so filthy? He was a noble. Was it white man's culture for them to be so... unbathed? "I find you!" She added, her voice slightly catching from the overwhelming emotional state she was supposedly in. She looked up at him, her eyes wide and helpless, welling with tears of joy. "My husband."

"Roberto!" Robert turned his head to look at the voice; noticing right away the tan woman who had walked out behind a tree. He's not seen women that color since the holy lands. Wait? What did she call him? What the hell were people calling him now?! Robert; Robin; Robin Hood; now Roberto?
"I find you!" Yes; yes; she could found him. Robert smiled at her with his normal charming dashing self and tossed his hand though his hair as he kept moving past her; "Yes! You found me!" He put one hand on his chest as if it pained him to leave her; "Parting is such sweet sorrow tat I could say--""My husband."
Robert's feet came to a stand still; and he almost toppled head over heels. Walking the few steps back to her he looked at her distressingly slightly familiar face. "Say what?" Who?

Aurelia would have laughed at his attempt to be charming and dashing and.. not that she was saying it wasn't true. It was merely funny because he was so oblivious. She had however mastered the art of suppressing her true emotions and thoughts, and instead, out came Mira. The innocent little naive girl who wanted nothing more than to enjoy her married life. With her dearly beloved husband. A bright smile formed on her lips, causing her entire face to practically glow with happiness. He was not going anywhere! Though he tried to step past her, she would keep him here. After all, had her beauty not stopped him long enough? Her false smile and brightness slowly began to diminish when she saw the shock on his face.
It was no surprise to Aurelia, but at the same time... it had to be a surprise to Mira. To hear just rejection. She rose to her feet and began to walk toward him. "I... you wife!" She exclaimed. She took advantage of his shocked state and when she was close enough, wrapped her arms around his neck and rested the side of her head on his chest, her cheek pressing into it as she closed her eyes and sighed with contentment. "I look....too long for you." Which, was true enough. She had been traveling for so long, and used practically all her coin to get here. But no matter. Considering how rich and wealthy he was, her purse would become quickly and easily replenished.

"I... you wife!"His wifwhat? Robert stared at her in surprise for a moment; and the leech took advantage and hugged him. Robert's hand went out to the sides and he made sure not to touch her. Sounds of dogs barking in the distant told him that he could not stall here too long. "I look....too long for you." Clearly she belonged in bedlam!
Her coloring and broken English suggested that she was from the holy lands but how the bloody hell did she get here; or know where to find him?! "I beg your pardon; but you seem to have me mistaken for someone else!" He said; then his tone picked up pace; "Natural habit; all us white boys look the same. Try waiting here; there are more about to coming running this way. ANY one of them would LOVE a wife!" He tried to moved to walk away but she didn't let go. "Really now; I don't have a wife; and if I happened to have had one--WHICH I DON'T--you don't want to be her right now."

While Aurelia could easily enough follow Robin's train of thought, well enough to understand the gist of what he was saying though he was talking too fast for his own good... Mira could not. Not the slightest. She had no idea what he was rambling on and on about. Considering his charm on the night she had first met him, she didn't expect him to be such a rambler. Nor did she expect him to not hold her in an embrace. He was doing quite the opposite: everything within his power to make sure he didn't touch her. Even when he tried to move. What the hell was wrong with him?! Here was a beautiful woman, throwing herself at the man, and now he didn't want anything to do with her? What was it with men and commitment? The mere word was enough to terrify them beyond belief. But no matter. Mira was a professional.
So with that said, being she didn't understand much English, she ignored every single thing that Robert said to her, and clung on despite his efforts to move. She did however raise her head to look into his eyes, evoking the emotion of pure happiness. "We be tooget-her," she said, trying to pronounce the word though it didn't come out right. Keeping her hands firmly around him, had she not been worried that he could pull from her grasp, she would have caressed his cheek. But she knew that she had to keep him in a death grip. "Toonit. We be.... real wife and husbeend." Consummate their love. Because, men only thought with one part of their anatomy. And to help break him out of his shock, she was going to seduce him.

Barking from the dogs signaled that not only where they close; but they knew that they were on the trail. "Now, now; dearest not-wife-crazy-miss; do you hear that? That means Robert---tooo has to gggoooo---tooooo." Robert reached for her wrist and forced her arms from him. She was going to get herself killed! And he didn't plan to be around to watch!
Pointing to a tree behind her; "Look! Up there!" He said suddenly; and when she looked he turned to walk toward where he had been running too. She was crazy; and when the men found her and she told them that she thought she was his wife then they would think she was----
#*&^%!!!!!!!!!! Turning to face her he ran back toward her; "Change of plans!" Because if they hear her talking about the wife thing; then she'd be arrested and used; abused; and tormented for information about him. "Can you run; time to run! Come on now; come."

Why was he in such a hurry?! She didn't understand! No man was that desperate to get away from her. It was as if he didn't even want to explore the possibility that she was his wife. As if he had better places to go. How... peculiar. While she was used to a man being shocked, she was not used to this specific kind of reaction where he kept trying to run away. When he told her to look up, she foolishly did so, only to see him run in the distance. She was far from done though... for she was not going to let him slip from her grasp that easily. And as if he wasn't odd enough... he turned right back around to come to her once more. Bizarre indeed! Aurelia looked at him with a confused expression, a happy smile finding its way on her lips for Mira took it as a sign that her husband did not want to be parted from her.
"Why... you... run?" She asked, trying to ask what his rush was. "I... reest. Too long I.... wook." She needed rest because she had walked for too long. She could run, technically, but she was trying to give him a hard time since he seemed so anxious to get rid of her. And she did not appreciate that. Not the slightest bit. She heard the barking of dogs and turned her head to look, though they were not yet in sight... but they were close. "Peepol come!" She exclaimed excitedly as she turned back to Robin, taking one of his hands in between both of hers. "We... go hoom, husbeend." To his home. To his estate. Where he was rich, and wealthy... and where she could enjoy such extravagances.

"Can you run?" He wiggled his fingers to mimic a man running; "Run?" As in now! "Jog? Trot? Skip quickly?" Move your feet! "Why... you... run?" YES! "I... reest. Too long I.... wook." NO! "Peepol come!" "Bad men! They come to hurt people! Time to leave!" He wiggled his fingers again; "To run!"
"We... go hoom, husbeend." Bloody hell! Why did women do this to him?! He wanted to scream! Walking up to stand before her; Robert looked down at her and spoke in a proper noble English tone. "As a lord of the realm and a gentleman; I will of course apologize to you for my manhandling; and behavior in advance." With that he bent forward and put his shoulder in her middle so he could hold her legs to keep her in place; then turned tail and ran the way he was going. "Scream if you'd like; they dogs will follow our trail anyway---Not that you know what I am saying anyway!"
