Pulling his hood lower; Robert moved though the market; while making sure to avoid the busier streets and vendors. He wasn't here to misbehave publicly but to seek out someone. Recently the whole 'wife' aspect of his life had come to public eye. Damn it!
Mira--if that was even her real name!--had been arrested by the sheriff and Sir Guy for being his wife. Which she wasn't! He could not have been that drunk! After dragging her ass out of the cells below; and getting her safe Robert had tried to send word to Evie but she was being too closely watched to get a message. So instead; he was seeking out another.
Walking into the stables and climbing up into the hayloft; Robert pulled his hood back to look up at Marian. "Good; you made it. Were you followed or questioned?" He wanted to know if his mother knew yet; and how she took the news. THEN he would explain that his not-wife was not as dumb as she pretended but a lair. And she damn well better be lying about the wedding. [TAG: Marian; 'Mira']

Robert's wife had been arrested. Or Robin Hood's wife, whatever you wanted to call him, the news was all over town. Marian hadn't believe the girl when she came to see Lady Vivian, but she wondered now if she shouldn't have let her see the Locksley Matriarch; it seemed she'd been telling the truth all along. When one of his damn bandits had turned up at her door to ask her to meet him, she'd thought about staying away. But she wanted to know what he had to say...what he wanted. So she'd come here to meet him, in some stable, waiting for him to show up.
"No...I don't think so." No one had questioned her, but she wasn't sure she hadn't been followed. She didn't think so, but given her experience in the woods, she no longer had confidence in her ability to determine whether or not she was being followed. "Is she really your wife?" DAMMIT. She cursed herself, she wasn't going to ask that, she was going to make him explain himself, but the words came unbidden, and she instantly regretted it. Her voice was quiet, maybe to keep their meeting a secret, maybe because she was afraid of his answer.

Hmm, now what was her dear husband up to now. After he had saved her from nearly being hanged, what a respectable person would do was say that they owed their hero their life. That they would forever leave, never to return and give them their eternal gratitude. It was a good thing that Aurelia was not a respectable person. Because she enjoyed this kind of life far more. Being the wife of a such a man. Though recently, her accent had slipped... of her own doing really. As he had saved her and the truth was slowly unveiling itself. He knew she was a liar, but that only meant that it would be even harder to convince him that she was actually his wife. The fact that he was sneaking around right now, had left her intrigued and interested in what he could possibly be doing. He was meeting someone, that much was clear. His sister perhaps? She made sure to follow him, undetected, seeing him slip into the barn. Hmm. Interesting place to meet someone no doubt.
She waited a few moments but did not walk in immediately. Instead, she hovered near the entrance, her own shawl covering her head and keeping her identity concealed. Because now, thanks to him, everyone would recognize her face as his wife. Though in a way, it was a good thing. She just wished she had picked her victim better. She heard only the murmuring of his voice, now fully certain that someone was inside with him. She slowly opened the door, seeing two people on the hayloft. Well, well well. This was an interesting turn of events. For it was none other than Marian... the woman who had proved to be such a problem when Aurelia had been trying to see Vivian. Now, it was her time to seek revenge. She quietly closed the door, moved the shawl from over her head. Her footsteps were quiet enough, and she hid in the shadows of the dark, lightly making her way over to them.
She stood at the bottom of the short ladder, and stared up, just in time to hear Marian's question, and thus, revealed her presence. "Why no ask her now?" She questioned with an innocent smile. She had not publicly spoken, so therefore.. Robert was the only one who knew the truth. Marian didn't. And Aurelia thus decided to become Mira once again. She hastily climbed up the ladder and stood right next to Robert, before either of them had time to object. To further display her title, she linked her arm through Robert's, holding his one arm with both of her hands, nestling rather close to him... all for appearance sake. "You... steel no beeliv?" She asked with strong innocence, and false kindness. After all the times she had tried to convince her, and after the public declaration of it... this woman STILL did not believe that she was his wife? Now, why was that? Why were they meeting here? Did it have to do with his mother or.. was it something more?

"No...I don't think so." Good; good good. Robert walked over to stand before Marian; looking down at her smaller frame. "Is she really your wife?" Damn it! That woman was killing his social life and as an outlaw he didn't even really have one! Reaching his hand up; he almost touched her cheek. "N-""Why no ask her now?" "Damn it; woman!" Dropping his hand; Robert turned to almost look at the voice but the little snake had climbed up and slithered over; wrapping herself around his arm.
"You... steel no beeliv?" "Believe?" Robert looked at Marian while trying to disentangle his arm; "No! She's not my wife! She's a lair!" He managed to get his hand out of her reach; and them took her by the shoulders and pushed her gently into sitting on a near y square of hay before backing away. "You are a lair; and--Why is your English back to bad again? You spoke it just fine last night!" He barked out quietly but angrily.
Shit! Turning to Marian he tried to clear up his words. "Last night; when I rescued her! Because her mouth was about to get her hung! Not after that. . . . well; after that some; but only talking--and yelling." But not pleasure screaming! Turing to Mira; "Why the hell are you here?!"

She was watching Robert's face, trying to read whatever truth might show there, but before he even had the chance to answer her question, an unpleasantly familiar voice joined them. Robert swore, and Marian turned away when the woman latched onto his arm, giving a frustrated sigh. Now she couldn't even get a straight answer out of him because his bloody 'wife' would interrupt. She didn't turn towards them until Robert starting protesting against the other woman's claims, confusion in her eyes. They certainly didn't seem like a happy married couple.
Marian had trouble keeping up with his rapid ramblings...she spoke English? Her eyes widened when he mentioned 'last night', and apparently he caught that too, because he turned towards her to try and explain it. She didn't say anything, watching the two of them. She wanted to believe Robert, but why would anyone be so stupid as to pretend to be his wife? Of all people!
"Why would she lie? It hasn't exactly done her any good." She wanted Robert to be telling the truth, but there was this nagging voice in the back of her head that made her actually consider the other woman, as much as she hated it. "And why didn't you tell me about her sooner?" Like before everyone else was talking about it and she couldn't possibly not hear it. Her eyes flicked towards the woman briefly, wondering if she should be asking her this, but disregarding that. She didn't want to believe that she was telling the truth, even if she was willing to consider it.

Aurelia's first clue in thinking that something was going on between them, was the fact that Marian's first question to him had been in regards to his wife. The second clue, and one that confirmed it, was the way Robin was speaking to her. The way he had almost touched her right before she had interrupted their moment. And Aurelia couldn't be happier that she had. What perfect timing she had. Impeccable! He managed to wriggle free from his grasp, and she just stared at him with wide eyes, listening to his rambling. The way he had done so when she had first encountered him in England. Seemed to be an interesting habit of his. Or maybe she was special and he only did so because of her. How precious. She let him sit her down by gently pushing her, but the second his hands left her shoulder, she rose to her feet once more. "I spik English now," she protested, obviously, telling him that this was how she spoke English. When he and her both knew full well that it wasn't. But now... Marian didn't know that did she.
Speaking of which, how rude the woman was! Aurelia already had a dislike for her but now... blatantly ignoring her question, and then speaking about her as if she wasn't here. Oh this was going to be fun indeed. She forced a light blush on her cheeks, as she falsified what 'last night' meant to her, and a shy smile crept onto her lips. Neither emotion were accurate for what really happened last night.. but they played along with the implications of his words. Ones that Marian seemed to be believing considering her next questions. "Last nit..." She began to say, stepping closer to him. "I tank you. For.... you save me." So she had thanked him. "Last nit..." She continued, moving closer to him as she rested her hand gently on his cheek, staring deep into his eyes affectionately. "We be reel husbeend and wife." If Marian was going to ignore her, then Aurelia was going to ignore Marian. And it would be all up to Robin to find a proper in between.

"I would have told you about her; if she was my wife! But she's not so I didn't!" And he was getting a little tired of defending himself from everyone! Either they thought he was going to take advantage of Mira; or they thought he was a playboy who had taken advantage of her! Which he did neither; would do neither; and she wasn't so sweet and innocent! She was a liar! She was LYING NOW! "There was no last night!" He hissed out!
Reaching up and grabbing her hand; Robert used it to twist behind her back; turning her away from him and pushed her face down into the hay. "Stop telling people your my wife!" Letting her go he backed away. "Look; I don't know who she is! She is lying to you; to everyone! She spoke English just fine last night and now she is back to being the dumb wife. . . . NOT-WIFE!" Damn it! "She's back to being the dumb not-wife!"
This was not working out; and he knew it. After a short awkward silence he looked to Marian; "Did my mother hear the rumors?" Yet. He knew it would happen. "Mira is not my wife; and my mother can not think she is."

Marian looked away distastefully as Mira crawled all over Robert, speaking of the previous night with her broken English, then rolling her eyes as she resisted the urge to retch. She looked up slightly when Robert answered her, enough to see his face...he looked more frustrated than anything else. Good, at least they had something in common. She glared slightly at Mira as she pawed at his face, but her eyes went wide when Robert grabbed her and forced her down to the ground.
"Well don't hurt her!" Marian protested, even if she had felt the urge to inflict violence on Mira herself...it was different when Robin did it. He was a man, and twice her size, he might really hurt her without meaning to. She didn't want to be kind to the girl, not with all she'd done, but even so Marian found herself kneeling down next to Mira to help her sit up, pulling some straw out of her hair. "Are you all right?" She didn't think Robert had hurt her, but she found herself asking anyways. She better not bloody lie.
"No, not yet. She will soon enough. I'll tell her they're not true." She looked back over her shoulder to answer Robert, she could break the news to Lady Vivian gently. As gently as was possible. She didn't know how she would explain...a crazy woman is running around claiming to be his wife? It made no sense. Marian looked back at Mira; maybe it was time to get answers from the source. "Why are you doing this?" Robert said she wasn't as dumb as she acted. Marian wondered if she'd keep up her act, or actually be honest.

Aurelia had not been expecting for her arm to be twisted around her back and thrown down into the hay. While she knew Robert would never beat her... she decided to get a bit more revenge on him for his forceful actions. She gasped loudly and let out a small cry when he pushed her in the hay. She was dramatizing the situation, and as if she wasn't surprised enough by Robert's actions... she was even more surprised by Marian's. Her first impression of the woman was that she had been cold hearted; stone cold. But now... she learned that Marian did have a heart after all. That she was caring... in a way. For she was kneeling next to her and removing the straw from her hair. Now, it wasn't about ruining Marian's night... it was about ruining Robert's. Tears welled up in Aurelia's eyes as she let herself look frightened and traumatized. Her hand curled around the wrist that he had grabbed, making it appear as if he had done grabbed her too strongly.
"You bad man!" She accused him. "You use me.... like.... pig man!" A pig. men who took advantage of other women. "You say.....I your wife.... now.... wit oother gurl... you say.. no?" She was messing with him, with Marian, with this entire thing. Not only was she now saying that she was his wife, but she was also saying that he had... taken advantage of it. And now denied it. She let a couple tears run down her cheeks, as she looked to Marian, her eyes wide with fright. "I do this.... he say I...nice gurl." Pretty. "He see me... smile.... waant to... be wit me." Oh how fun this was! "I teel...I oonlee be wit man... if husbeend and wife." Yes. She was making him sound like a pervert. "So... in Hooly place.... he maak me wife....and leave me... when doon wit me." She purposely avoided looking at Robert, and her gaze went to the ground, as if she was ashamed... as if he had taken advantage of hr and left her there. "I noo goo back. I... shame." She had been shamed, when in actuality, it wasn't like that at all. She even inched slightly closer to Marian, seeking sympathy and protection from a fellow female.
